Our Process

MindCypress assists you in your journey as an undergraduate/graduate school applicant starting from Pre-Application to Post-Admission phase.


  • Conference call with MindCypress advisor
  • Book an appointment for counseling
  • Send your resume
  • Arrive at our center and fill the introduction form while you wait to see your counselor
  • Meet the counselor and share your aspirations and education needs, past professional & academic records, financial standing etc.
  • Get counsel of required tests and share your progress till date on test preparations
  • Understand the MindCypress services and fees structure
  • Enroll with MindCypress as a student by paying applicable fees
  • Give required tests and get scores
  • Work with MindCypress counsellor (referred to as “counsellor” hereafter) to shortlist target universities
  • Get past education transcripts converted by WES to US grading


  • Work with your admissions consultant to prepare resume, statement of purpose, letter of recommendations and other university specific application requirement
  • Fill the online or paper application form and send/upload all required documents along with application fees for each university
  • Wait to receive interview invitations from universities
  • Work with your admissions consultant to prepare for interview questions, do mock interview sessions etc.
  • Give skype/phone/in-person interviews
  • Accept admission in your choice of university
  • Send acceptance documents & fees
  • Work with counsellor to assist in preparing a financial plan (education loan/ scholarship/teaching or research assistantship/self-funding) for studies abroad


  • Receive I-20 from university
  • Pay SEVIS I-901 fee online
  • Make an appointment for Visa interview at US Embassy
  • Work with counsellor to prepare interview documents and for the interview
  • Give interview on the day and get Visa stamped on the passport
  • Work with counselor to select flights, housing and finalize other logistics  
  • Arrive in the U.S. and check in with University’s International Students Office
  • Enjoy your US Education
  • Your career coach will assist you in networking, preparing resume and getting ready for interviews
  • Give interviews and accept an offer  


  • Your career coach can recommend a list of classroom or online courses that can  further your career prospects
  • Continue to work with your career coach to either make a job change and/or career change
